My broad social reach has given me a lot more opportunity for job-search networking than most, and I'm incredibly grateful for that chance.
This is not my intention, so I'm sorry for those of you who've been irritated or demotivated by my job-search posts. On the other hand, some find my posts to be overly negative, especially when I share my frustrations with companies, hiring process inefficiencies, and the overall industry trends. I've done that my whole career, with everything I figure learn and explore. I think it's important to document my journey publicly, as I am hopeful it helps others if I use my *privileges* to share my ups and downs in ways that others may not be as able to do. While I've recently had more success having some conversations and interviews, sadly I'm still unemployed and don't have any active leads. Been thinking a lot about what I might share as my final social media post of 2023 here.Īs most of you are aware, I've been job hunting for the last 3 months.
